I found a nostalgic photo 40 years ago.
I was a junior high school student.
These pictures are my plastic models taken on black and white film.
Why is it a black and white film? , Because I liked taking pictures around this time.
These pictures were taken outside by hanging the model with a thread.The plastic models of the aircraft shown in the photo are XF-103,, YF-17,F-107 and YF-12A.
It is a 1/72 scale model.
I still remember the feelings, the feel of the hands, and the colors when I made these models,
My love for prototype models was already established around this time.
If you are familiar with aircraft plastic models, it will be interesting.
These models were not for sale at the time.
These models were made by modifying existing models.
YF-12A was modified from SR-71.
The F-107 was modified from the F-100 Super Saber.
YF-17 was remodeled from FA-18.
By the way, the XF-103 did not have a base model to be modified.Around this time, I built the XF-103 based on wood, using putty and other models.
I didn't have a photo, but I also built the XF2Y Sea Dart.
The XF2Y was built from a vacuum form kit bought at a special plastic models model store selling foreign-made plastic models.
It's a pity that there are no photos left.
I am impressed that I built these models 40 years ago.
And 40 years later, I built the FS model of the XF-103.
I realized one of my dreams 40 years ago.
My desire is to make all the models mentioned above into FS models.
