Creating Aircraft for FSX

I tried to fix XFV-12A

I flew my XFV-12A, built in 2014 by FSDS, for the first time in a while.
This XFV-12A was an incomplete model because it had no VC and did not have a complete VTOL.

I knew an add-on model that would rise vertically without a gauge, so I thought I could just use a flap to create a VTOL.

But it was very difficult and I spent a lot of time setting it up.

After trial and error, my XFV-12A succeeded in VTOL at about 10 knots.
However, the attitude of the aircraft was unstable and unrealistic.
Ascending at a slight speed is not exactly VTOL.
As a result, I wasn't happy and was away from the XFV-12A for years.

But seven years have passed since then.
I tried Rob Barendregt's VTOL gauge.
I have always been interested in his VTOL gauge.

But I didn't want to use this gauge if possible.
I wanted to make VTOL a success myself.
But Rob Barendregt's VTOL gauge is worth a try.
In fact, I tried his VTOL gauge a few years ago, but at that time I didn't know the setup, so VTOL didn't work.
And I was giving up.

But this time, I did a thorough investigation without giving up.

Seeing some VTOL add-ons using his VTOL gauge, I got the hang of it.
Rob Barendregt's VTOL gauge is great.
My XFV-12A climbed vertically at a speed of 0 knots for the first time!

I also added his VTOL GAUGE to my XFV-1, which had stopped development in 2017!

 Successful!
